I avoided nickel or any wire high in nickel for a long time because I heard that some people get a reaction to it, but I decided to give it a try because it has better (lower) resistance then kanthal at the same gauge. and it's working beautifully so far. No problems at all. It's giving me exactly the resistance per number of coils and size of wrap that I was looking for. I can't say enough good things about wireoptim they're definitely the best place to get all your wire from. No other company is even close
