I avoided nickel or any wire high in nickel for a long time because I heard that some people get a reaction to it, but I decided to give it a try because it has better (lower) resistance then kanthal at the same gauge. and it's working beautifully so far. No problems at all. It's giving me exactly the resistance per number of coils and size of wrap that I was looking for. I can't say enough good things about wireoptim they're definitely the best place to get all your wire from. No other company is even close
Using this in a purpose built foam jigsaw and hotwire for cutting various foam. This stuff is absolutely incredible. They use FULL nickel wire usually and it constantly stretches out. This stuff is like a solid glowing lightsaber in comparison!

So I just wanted to say really quick that I have never received a product so quickly I ordered it and not the following day but the next it arrived! Absolutely amazing customer service. Plus the products I ordered came on the spool prefect! I will be buying all my wire here from now on I definitely recommend wireoptim for everything you need.

The latest rolls of 40ga N80 (1000ft.) I got were the new fatty kind. I didn't know if I'd like them but they're nice to use. I don't mind the thinner ones, but like that there's more to hold on to with the fatties
