This was my first purchase of wire at Lightning Vapes and Im thoroughly pleased with the gear I received. I got everything from 20g down to 40g and the quality is excellent all around. The wire is free from any defects which might lead to premature wire failure when making even the smallest of Claptons under fair amounts of tension. Even the 40g is remarkably durable. If I had one point of criticism the wire lock where you fasten the loose end of the wire when not in use drives me fucking insane. Way too unreliable as it does a subpar job of performing the simple task of just holding the wire. I cant even count how many times the wire just basically slid out of the slit you crimp it into (sometimes when the spool is just sitting there and Im not even touching it) resulting in spontaneous uncoilage maximus which is just a giant (and unnecessary pain in the ass). To be fair this primarily affects the thinner gauges 36g and up but still. There must be a better way of doing this. Spontaneous Food for thought...have you ever considered using those retentioncutter clips that they use on dental floss dispensers? Obviously those wont do shit for the thicker gauges but the thin stuff say 34g and up? I imagine that would work a treat AND you save yourself the need to reach for the scissorscutters when working with thinner wire. The only other thing Id love to see are some even higher gauges of wire. In some of the more intense modern builds 46g wire is not uncommon and personally Id even be interested in purchasing 48 and 50g wires (a fella can dream cant he? o) Anyways thanks for a great product this certainly wont be my last order at Lightning Vapes.
I ve been building for a long time but just with kanthal so i cant really compare your companys wire to others but i am extremley happy with the build i got on my mech right now with your wire. All nichrome fused claptons 2x 26 wrapped in 32 .09 ohms great flavor and huge clouds def a build ill continue using and i loved your guys price and selection plus fast shipping ill def be a return customer
