hot wire
I love the nichrome half the resistance almost no ramp time. Great stuff.
Every WIREOPTIM spool of wire is precision wound via hands-off computerized machines, perfectly tensioned, and handled with care in a clean environment to ensure only the highest quality product lands in your hands. Say goodbye to tangles, oil, skin salts, and other debris or contaminants. Nichrome 80 is an alloy consisting of 80% Nickel, and 20% Chromium. It is ideally suited as a resistance wire heating alloy. It has a high melting point and fantastic resistance to high temperature oxidation. This alloy offers superior service life compared to other Nichrome wire types due to the excellent adhesion properties of its surface oxide. Typical applications include:

Im very happy with the amount of wire I got for the price. I only use it for personal builds so 100 will last me a good while. Very happy with my purchase and like always very fast shipping. Thanks LV!

I just love this nichrome it is soft and durable at the same. It has a much faster ramp up time than kanthal. 1010
Heats up fast.. Much better than kanthal.. And as always outstanding prices!!!! And FAST shipping ...thanks LV!!!!
Bought this for my husband he was very impressed with the quality. The shipping was amazing did ground and got within a week not to mention this was during the holidays. Will definitely be ordering from here again.
Fast shipping awesome product every time
Since the nichrome wire resists less than kanthal super low resistance builds are possible with larger coils. Right now my favorite is a 2 strand fused Clapton. The Clapton coils hold a ton of juice and I find 56 wraps does the trick nicely resisting less than .3 on my Ipv3 pushing 5060 watts. Ill probably dual coil it soon.
builds nice and easy. Heats up quick. If you are not going for a subohm build do not use but so far I have been doing dual 8 wrap coils at 564 and it runs at .1 ohms. next time i think i might go with 26 or 28 gauge. but even with quad 10 wrap at 764 it heats up right away. Will get again
From the time I ordered it to my door it was a few days.. nice to know there is is good quick service theses days.. just what I ordered
Very impressed with product shipping the whole experience was great
