It is ideally suited as a resistance wire heating alloy, with lower resistance than that of Nichrome 80 due to it's slightly higher nickel content. It has a high melting point and fantastic resistance to high temperature oxidation. This alloy offers superior service life compared to other Nichrome wire types due to the excellent adhesion properties of its surface oxide. Typical applications include:

first time tryin ni90!
i love the fact that you can build LARGE coils without increasing the ohms! i actually LOVE the wire and find it easier to use! it feels almost thinner than ni80 and more flexible.i must say that the coils i build are actually probably the best that i have EVER BUILT! cant wait to get back into building aliens when i get some time! im sure that this wire will build some amazing aliens! at first i will admit that it was pretty unusual to build with and a little bit unstable but after the first messed up build the wire made perfect coils!
